Community Participation Program

The Community Participation Program aims to assist young people with a disability to develop the skills they need to work towards their goals, increase independence and participate as active members of the community.

Programs are developed through the individual planning process which outline an individuals goals and aspirations. The individual plan builds on a persons skills and identifies new skills and abilities that the person may want to explore.

Programs promote fun, learning, expanding social networks, health and fitness, exploring new experiences in both centre based and community access capacities.

Some of our CPP experiences this year include – 3 day camping trip to Glenreagh, day trip to Seaworld, Gold Coast, over night to Coffs Harbour to view individual entries in the ‘Lillpilli art and Craft’ exhibition, 7 night P&O cruise to the Pacific Islands.
